OUTWARD BOUND SINGAPORE 2006 - BOSENG

okayys, im here to post for obs. was quite a late post lahhs. hahas. so sorry.
hmms, start with the first day, 6thNOV. arrived in sch and went to punggol end jetty, took a obs ship there. arrived there, the place was like so big. and it doesnt look like any campsite bud a chalet. hahas. was very excited to meet all my grp members and carry on with our activities. haas. okays, got into my grp, BOSENG, and did our admin stuffs. we had to surrender all the electronic devices and cash that we brought with us. grr, so sad. still tot we could like use it to take photos or whatever. haas. we were brought to our bunk, there's bed and everything. really like a chalet lahhs. hahas. placed our bags and tour the place. had some activities too! "the trust game!" we had to fall randomly to any side and the other grp members will have to push us bac up. aft the trail, one of us will have to climb up some stairs to a certain height and fall backwards dwn. others will be below holding a large piece of mat and catch the person falling. was fun!! hahas. nthh much lahhs. did belaying too. yupps, i love it. ((: aft that was quite slack i thought. meals and accomdomation was alright. day two, 7thNOV, have to wake up at 4plus5 and had to gather at 0555SHARP for flag-rising an morning pt aft dat. the pt was good for training i thought. aft that played some games with other grp and went kayak! i've been waiting to kayak. haahs. im sure everyone's waiting for that lahhs. lols. partner was christopher, he not bad lahhs quiute good haas. did capsized drill. arghs, NICE. haas. bud the water so salty, got into the eyes so pain! actually i didnt contribute much to the capsize, he capsized me to be exact. lols. okays, den kayak to campsite 2. looks like a school to us. there's stage, classrooms, office, assembly ground and everything. bud seems to be left empty there for quite a period of time. errie. hahs. placed all our belongings in the "hall" den set up our basha in the "field"? yupps, that's whr we will be sleeping at night. cool? lols. doubt we will have a peaceful night, haas. cos the place looks as if there will be millions and billions of mosquitos. it's like somehow in the forest you see. did some elements there. had fun lahhs. haas. aft that was about evening, and we had to cook our own food with the rations we've been given!! unlike the previous day, we had freshly-cooked food by the cooks there. bud our cooking wasn't that bad lahhs., i thought we all had a nice meal, a wonderful dinner. hahahs. bud of cos, can increase the bonding between us yups. 8thNOV, hiked frm campsite two to campsite three. stopped at the quarry on the way there. we had to complete a raft with the materials given and we were only given a certain time. have to work tgt. of cos, we were quite lucky i thought as we had quite a few numbers of guides and bridgades so they can help us with the knobs. okays, after we complete the raft, we had to come up with a presentation. haas. was quite funny, as we came up with a name for the raft, BO SINK, which means never sink. after the presentation, of cos we had to go through 3 tests. the shake test, the kick test and the float test. passed the first two test, all of us were so excited. cos the third test allows us to go into the quarry!! hahahahahahs. wore our life jackets, checked everything an there we go! jumped into the quarry. was quite scary when we had to jump in as it was damn damn deep. you will never feel the depth of the water. bud i tell you, the water was so so so so clear and clean! though it was so clear, we still can't see how deep it is. imagine. . . . haas. okays, of cos we passed the third test. and our prize is, . . . to play in the huge quarry for 20mins!! LOLS. everyone was like so damn happy and excited to play in there so everyone hurried to help detach the raft and keep all the stuffs bac into the store. and, here we go! had so much fun!!((: also help to wash us up lahhs. there won't be any bathing sessions and toilets for us in the campsite three. it's really in the forest this time round, whr there's wildboars and everything in the wild. good luck to us man. continue with the hiking and proceed to our campsite three. once again, set up our bashas and OMG! we saw wildboar running across! arghs! what a place for us to spent our night. as usual, cooked our own meals. dinner was great! instant noodles with cocktails and mushrooms! simple one bud taste like heaven! haas. mayb bcos of excessve intake of biscuits and breads for breakfast and lunch. dinner was the best man!! ((: after dinner, was brief with the trekking for tml, and all the grid-ref for the checkpoints we have to go thru. 9thNOV. we had to complete our task before we could return to the campsite one. campsite three was ard the center point of ubin. bud, bcos one of our compulsory checkpoint was at the end of ubin, we had to trekk all the way to the end and bac to another end whr campsite one is. imagine how tiring!! we really trekk the whole day for abu 10hrs with the over 20kilos of load we had to carry. anw, we managed to complete the task yeahs!!!! and we saw 2 hornbills! arghs, they are beautful! we saw them twice. how lucky are we? lols. had a wonderful freshly-cooked dinner. haas. bac to our dom. sat dwn to chat and exchange emails, phone numbers. thats's our last night there, so we had to keep in contact peeps! 10thNOV. last breakfast and last meal tgt. really can't bear to leave each other. had our last activity of the camp, the commitment walk. thought of alot of thing up there. and of cos overcoming my fear. BOSENG passed the commitment walk, everyone completed ! hehes. then, we had to bring out all our stuffs and leave the campsite. the instructors told us, "your journey begins when you leave the jetty and step into the real-life applying whatever you've learn. that's when your journey starts." really learnt alot of stuffs there and of cos got to know so many good frens. i missed all of them dearly!<3>

OUTWARD BOUND SINGAPORE!! the most memorable camp i ever had. it's a geat camp!!:D
